Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which the property is let. Please read them carefully as using our online booking form confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these conditions.

Check In and Check out

Normally our holidays, are let Friday to Friday, though shorter breaks may be available at quieter times of the year. Check in is from 4 pm on the first day of your holiday and check out is 11am on the last. There may be flexibility in these times so if you wish to change them, contact us.

Capacity of the property

The property sleeps six people, under the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 we are required to collect details of all the guests staying at the property and you will be required to provide these details prior to check in.

Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made through our online booking system, payment is taken via Paypal either using a Paypal account of a debit/credit card.

If booking more than 28 days in advance a deposit of 50% is required to secure your dates and your dates will only be held for you once this deposit is paid.

If booking less than 28 days in advance we require full payment up front.

The balance is due 28 days before your check in date

Cancellation charges

If you are forced to cancel your holiday, please contact us at once, and confirm in writing. Your cancellation becomes effective on receipt of your written instructions. You are then liable for cancellation charges as follows:

More than 42 days before check in date
Full refund will be paid
28 - 42 days before check in date
50% of the cost of your booking
15 - 27 days before check in date
75% of total cost of holiday
1 - 15 days before check in date
100% of total cost of holiday

Cancellation by Drom Aluinn

We reserve the right to cancel a holiday up to six weeks before the starting date of that holiday. In such circumstances we will do our best to offer you an alternative holiday of equivalent standard, or a refund of all money paid to that date.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the property and its contents for the duration of your holiday, and are expected to take all reasonable care of it during that time. The property and its contents should be left clean and tidy at the end of your holiday. You are responsible for any damages or breakages caused by you or your party during your stay in the property, and these should be reported to us as soon as possible.

Our responsibilities

If you or any member of your party suffers death, illness, injury, loss or damage as a result of any failure to perform or any improper performance of any part of our contract with you, we accept responsibility. We accept no responsibility where any of the above events are attributable.

  • to a third party not connected to the provision of the holiday
  • to circumstances beyond our control

Our liability

Our liability to you (except in the case of damages or personal injury), is limited to twice the price of the holiday paid by you.

Complaints

If whilst on holiday, you are not satisfied with the standard of the property provided, you should immediately contact the us with your complaint. If you feel that the matter has not been resolved to your satisfaction, put your complaint in writing within twenty eight days of the end of your stay in the property.

Insurance

No insurance cover is included in the cost of your holiday. We would recommend that you consider taking out personal cover to protect you against cancellation, loss of personal items, etc.

Changes to our operation

We will do our utmost to ensure that any changes to our operation which may affect your holiday are notified to you as soon as possible.
